Pair of Oak Bedside Tables

A pair of patinated oak examples of Severin Hansen's classic Model 35 bedside table with wood shelf and single drawer. This pair have been carefully refinished in Danish oil. Made in Denmark in the 1960s by Haslev Moblersnedkeri. 

Severin Hansen designed the Model 30 series of tables and desks with no formal training, under the guidance of his father Hans Severin Hansen who worked as a sales agent and designer himself for Haslev. Severin would go on to be the factory's sole designer throughout the 1960s when they achieved great success together.
