Severin Hansen
A fine rosewood example of Severin Hansen's classic bedside table with woven rattan cane shelf and a slim, single drawer. This example if lighter rosewood has been refinished in Danish oil to highlight the rich lustre of the timber. The table was made in Denmark, in the 1960s by Haslev Moblsnedkeri in the town of Haslev.
Severin Hansen produced a wide range of desks and tables using his signature mitred 3-way joint and tapering legs. The Model 35 side table was one of the most popular designs in the series, especially when fitted with a rattan cane shelf.
