Krobo Bench, 1.5m

The Krobo is a vintage rosewood bench designed by Torbjørn Afdal for the Norwegian manufacturer Bruksbo in the 1960s. It remains one of the defining pieces of Scandinavian modern furniture from the period, prized today by collectors and interior designers.

The bench features a long, minimalist shape with a rosewood veneered top and solid wood legs. The clean lines and simple structure highlight the beauty of the material, with rich grain and warm tones that have developed a natural patina over time. 

Torbjørn Afdal (1917–1999) was one of the leading names in Norwegian furniture design, working with Bruksbo from the 1950s through the 1970s. This Bruksbo bench is one of his most recognised designs.
