Knud Faerch
Danish furniture designer Knud Faerch found success in the late 1950s and 60s through his work for producers including Alfred Christensen's Slagelse Mobelvaerk factory who produced this stand out piece: the Cowhorn chair. Faerch had studied under Danish master Finn Juhl who's freeform, biomorphic approach to furniture drawing was a clear influence on Faerch's own work.
This example is made in slow-grown, patinated teak with a new aniline leather seat.
