JH-503 Round Chair

Arguably Hans Wegner's most iconic design, the 503 chair was simply known as the 'The Chair' when it was first produced or fondly as 'The Round One' by Wegner himself. This iteration was the 3rd of 3 designed in quick succession starting in 1949 and features a padded seat. It remains his most well-known design from an illustrious career. This example was made in European oak and the seat is upholstered in cognac aniline leather It has been carefully restored and revived using Danish oil. Produced by Johannes Hansen, Denmark.
