Grete Jalk
A beautiful pair of lounge chairs designed by Grete Jalk for cabinetmaker Poul Jeppesen in Denmark in 1956. This example comes in stunning rosewood with new feather-filled cushions reupholstered in aniline cognac brown leather. The Model 56 lounge chair debuted at the Fredericia Furniture Fair in 1957 and became a great success for Jeppesen's company over the following years.
