The Samsas Chair, designed in 1960, is one of Carl Malmsten's most important armchairs. The design was an update of his earlier Konsert chair, which was created in 1923 for the Stockholm Concert Hall. Samsas became an instant classic in Sweden and remained in continuous production ever since at the O.H. Sjögren family workshop in Tranås. This new edition has been updated to include a sprung seat with legs available in Fumed Oak or Walnut. The chair can be upholstered in a wide range of fabrics.
