The unconventional hero of Danish design
The Model 36 desk, alongside the accompanying collection of tables in various sizes, launched in 1958 when Severin Hansen was just 22. During its first exhibition, the future Queen Margrethe II fell in love with the desk, and her father, King Frederik, gifted it to her.
In honour of this unique royal connection, we have reissued these designs as the Margrethe Collection.
