A rarely seen and highly collectible armchair by Ole Wanscher from 1954. Produced by master cabinetmaker and long-time collaborator: A.J. Iversen in Copenhagen, Denmark. Underside with manufacturer's paper label. Made from exquisite, figured rosewood with patinated original black leather seat. Wanscher and Iversen had a long and fruitful relationship, collaborating on many of Wanscher's most iconic and well-loved creations including this piece as well as the Egyptian folding stool, the T-Chair and the 1958 Princess chair.
