Born in Denmark in 1914, Hans J. Wegner is rightly considered one of the most influential figures in 20th century furniture design. Wegner has over 500 designs to his name, including the Papa Bear Chair, Wishbone Chair and the Round Chair, many of which are considered masterpieces of modern design, and continue to influence and shape the world of modern furniture.
